How can I figure out who I amChange is scary. It’s easier to keep things the same, even if they’re not so great.

Change means that you have to become uncomfortable. Ugh! Nobody wants that. I know I don’t.

Every time I get a new cell phone,  app, or download the latest Mac software, it’s a drama for me. I go through twenty minutes of anxiety before I hit the OK button. Maybe I should just stay uncomfortable, sip a cup of coffee and polish my nails while I wait for my slow-moving computer to make its next move.

Sometimes I’m right. That new software messes with my computer making bigger problems. I downloaded Yosemite now I can’t open my photos. Now I have to download something else which will probably lead to something else I need to fix. Argh!

I try to hold off as long as I can but I know that soon my computer will go so slow I won’t be able to open Word and Safari at the same time, or even worse my computer will crash.

That’s just my computer we’re talking about. What about in life?

Life is all about change. It’s the only thing we can count on. Nothing ever stays the same. Think of the times when you made a change and it worked out fine. Or when you look back and say, Wow! Why didn’t I do that sooner?

So, tell me… is your comfort zone getting a little too tight? Hmm, I think it’s time to buy a new computer.
